Spooky Night

Hi there everyone I hope your having a awesome day. My mojo has been off for awhile, taking care of a elderly  parent is very trying. I spend most of my free time at doctor offices and hospitals. I very glad to do this but it's not very inspiring to be creative. So this week I turned to U tube and I found some Stamscapes  videos I have love his work for years and I even took a class once many years ago. This is my take on his style.

I started by cutting my glossy card stock with a Spellbinder die then stamping The Raven image with Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored the limb with Copic markers then it was time to lay down the background colors I used lots of green shades and finished with black. Then I used the Spook Tree Limb stamp and added some twigs around the edge. I used a white jell pen to to add some brightness to the image. The Run In Fear Halloween Greeting   was colored in the same way. On the green background card stock I stamped the Long Tall Wheat stamp and green ink.

This is what I used.

Have a wonderful day,

Leaf color challenge

Hi there everyone and welcome back for another DRS designs Thursday challenge. The challenge this week is a color challenge.

These are great fall colors I cant wait to see all the great cards that you come up with.

My card is a study in a lot of new techniques that I have never used before and may not ever use again.

Needles to say this is not my favorite card.

The background is a embossing folder that I rubbed ink from a stamp pad over before embossing. Really don't like this.

The Open Leaf was colored with copic markers then it was cut with a oval die that had ink rubbed on the edge before cutting. not my favorite might look better with a different color on a different card.
After all this I just started adding layers trying to save this card but there was no hope.
Just goes to show you everyone has that card that goes no were and know matter what you do you just cant save it.

Join in this challenge and I hope you have better luck than I did.

Have a wonderful day,

Janett

I just love this funny stamp. It called Peculiar Pumpkin Patch, it was colored with copic markers and layered on to green card stock. The background was stamped with the Open Leaf, and colored with copic markers.
I added a little orange ribbon to the corners and layered it onto green card stock.

Have a Wonderful day,
