The grass was sponged with green ink. This was cut with a oval die, and layered on to a tan oval. Ont he green piece I punched holes then used a brown pen to finish. Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day! I hope everyone is having a great day with the family, or just doing something for your self. Everyone needs a day just for them. I'm a work today but I see my kids very often as they all live very close so tomorrow I going to be Janett day!

I have a very simple Mothers Day card to share with you today. I stamped the Medium Daisy Bloom on white card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then using a rectangle die I did a little inside the box by cutting around the daisy on the inside so the die could slide under the edge of the flower. Then put it through  the die cutting machine. This was layered onto navy card leaving 1/16 inch border around the edge. Then I stamped and heat embossed in white On Mother's Day  . This was attached to a white card. I wanted to add a little pop so I colored the largest butterfly in the Three Butterflies it was fussy cut and attached in the center so the wings could be up.

Have a wonderful day,

Bunch of Grapes Gift Bag

DRS designs is the sponsor for the Scrapbook Blessings challenge this week. The challenge this week is Any this 3D ( card ,boxes, bags, ect.) The prize will be a $10.00 voucher to the DRS designs store.

I got this new Gift Bag Punch Board at the stamp show about two months ago and had not used it, and this was the perfect change. I made the bag with some light purple light paper. I stamped the new Bunch of Grapes twice onto white card and used copics to color the image. Then fussy cut them. I dyed the seam binding with copic re filler. After threading throw the bag I attached the Bunch of Grapes to the ends of the ribbon. For the band across the bottom I used the Medium Silhouette Leaf first I used yellow ink the sponged green so there would be some shading. Then I cut the purple scalloped edge with a Spellbinder Edgeabilites die. I stamped the Toast to you Greeting over the top of the leaves.

I had a lot of fun making this and I hope you will join in this challenge.

Have a wonderful day,
